Almost a year ago, I started out on a very daunting task of taking a photograph a day for an entire year. Today, I just posted my 362nd shot. As that project winds down in just 3 days (actually going for 366 to account for leap year), I have thought for the past few weeks what is next for my photography endeavors. While I do not have it all figured out yet, I have decided my next step is to setup a blog feature on my website. If you are reading this post, you have obviously already discovered this fact.
At this point, I am torn on whether or not continue this project through 2013. Over the course of this project, taking some type of photo each day has become part of my daily routine. Some days it has been easy and others not so much, but regardless, it has become a great way for me to document a small part of each day from my perspective.
For me to keep it up, I decided that I needed to make it easier to post. Currently, I post the photo to my website, a public 365 website (365project.org), my personal Facebook page and my photography Facebook page. Unfortunately, the posting process has become very laborious. With that said, part of my decision to start this blog was to facilitate making this process easier.
If I continue, I plan to post my photos on my website and use the blog feature to help share these photos. So if you are interested in continuing to follow my daily photos, I hope you will follow my blog as much as you have followed me on Facebook.
Please stay tuned over the course of the next several days, as I will decide whether or not I will keep going with the daily routine, and if so, what changes I may make. I will also be wrapping up the first year of daily photos, as Day 366 is on Saturday. Have a great night!
